The Mission of the Benavides Independent School District is to assure that its students develop their maximum capabilities and acquire a knowledge base on which to build life-long learning, thus enabling them to become responsible contributors to society.

The night is still young as the entire town gathers to view the exciting parade that leads to the yearly "Burning of the B". It begins making its way through downtown Benavides. The moon is rising and so are the hopes of the entire crowd as night falls and game night comes even closer.
