HAND FOOT MOUTH DISEASE
Benavides ISD has a confirmed case of Hand-Foot-Mouth disease (HFMD). HFMD is caused by a virus that is easily speard through coughing and sneezing. Symptons of HFMD is your child may feel tired, have a sore throat, and a fever over 101° F. In 2-3 days your child will develop a rash and blisters on their hand, mouth and feet. If your child has a fever, do not send your child to school.
