Mr. Daniel Ceballos

Daniel Ceballos is serving as Superintendent for Benavides Independent School District.  For the past six years he has served as a Principal and Area Administrator for College readiness for Mathis Independent School District.

Mr. Ceballos has broad-based leadership experience in Texas public school education.  For more than 15 years he has served as Area Administrator for College Readiness, Lead Principal, Principal for Elementary and Secondary Schools, Library Media Specialist and Classroom Teacher.   He earned his Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and his Bachelor’s Degree in Bilingual Education from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.

Mr. Ceballos has demonstrated his commitment to a college and career ready education, and management of budget and facilities.  “I’m excited at being here at Benavides ISD and working with the parents and community to build an educational career for our students that will provide a pathway to a post-secondary education”, he said.
