District Testing Coordinator
Guidance Counseling Services
The mission of the Benavides Independent School District Guidance and Counseling Program, in partnership with parents, school and community, is to provide a system of services which foster the academic, career, personal, and social development of all students.
The guidance counseling staff serves all students, teachers, and parents in matters of personal and group counseling, standardized testing, grades and grade reporting, scheduling, career counseling, college and scholarship information, and graduation information. A student may make an appointment with his/her counselor with the secretary in the counselor's office. The student will receive a day and time for the appointment.
The primary goal of the counseling office is to support the academic success of all students so that all students can reach their maximum potential and become caring, productive, and responsible citizens.
Anytime the couseling office can be of service, please call us at 361-256-3055 or 361-256-3041.
