Mission Statement

To financially support the needs of the district with professionalism and integrity while be dedicated to superior customer service to students, faculty, departments, and outside constituents with a focus on accuracy, accountability, and efficiency.

Goals

The Business Office seeks to support the mission of our office and the district. We aspire to be
responsive and provide accurate and timely information while maintaining confidentiality and honesty. We aim to ensure BISD Board Policies, guidelines, and standardized operational and financial procedures. Also, to ensure compliance with the Texas Education Agency’s Financial Accountability System Resource Guide; thereby, increasing accountability of activity funds and enhancing the trust of students, parents, and public we serve.

Purpose

The primary responsibility of the Business Office is to assist all Benavides ISD Campuses/Depts. in the daily operation and maintenance of their respective business operations which include ensuring the proper collections, disbursements, and control of activity funds.
